Capoeira Brasil Paris Philosophy

Here, we believe that to make progress, you have to love what you do. That is why we do everything we can so that everyone feels good at the school, fulfilled in their practice and part of a caring group. Capoeira then becomes much more than a discipline: a tool for personal growth, a source of confidence, a driving force of energy.

Our philosophy is built above all on passion. Rather than imposing rules or dictating behaviour, we seek to pass on a love of Capoeira, of its culture and its energy. This emotional bond naturally creates commitment, rigour and the desire to push yourself further.

The school brings together very different people: some had never done any sport, others are seasoned athletes. We welcome practitioners of all ages, all backgrounds and all life stories. And yet, in class as in the roda, everyone finds their place. Human richness is at the heart of how we work.

The teaching we pass on is alive and always evolving. We encourage our students not to limit themselves to what we say. Just as a child learns better by discovering other cultures, our capoeiristas flourish by travelling, meeting other capoeiristas and experiencing other rodas. That is how they build solid experience, nourished by real life, encounters and discoveries.

We cultivate a mindset based on curiosity, humility and the desire to learn. Because no matter how much experience you have, there is always something to learn from others. Being a student means accepting to stay in motion, questioning, on the path. And being a teacher means knowing how to show the way while continuing to walk alongside them.

With us, Capoeira does not stop at the training hall. It goes with us on our travels, our exchanges, our events. I push my students to open up, to meet other schools and other masters, to enrich their experience the way you discover the world. The more you travel, the wider your vision becomes. The more you explore, the more clear-sighted and inspired you become. Because Capoeira is above all an art of freedom. Freedom of movement, of thought, of expression, and it is also in this spirit that I pass it on every day.

Today, I am no longer alone in carrying this vision. I am supported by a team of caring, passionate people, full of humility and a true team spirit. Together, we are growing the school. Together, we are building a Capoeira that is demanding yet joyful, rooted in tradition and looking to the future.
